Don't make the same mistake that we did and drive halfway accross calgary to rent paddle boats. they have tons of them but only two work! we were told to come back in 20 minutes, 20 minutes later we were told to come back in half an hour.. Pedal boating in bowness park we celebrated summer this year with a visit to bowness park with the intention of trying the pedal boats for the first time and were happy to discover that there were several boats available without a long wait time.. All rentals must be made by an 18+ year old. skates can be rented for a maximum of two hours and rentals end 30 minutes before closing. please note: these are the only items available to rent at bowness park. visit our university of calgary location for all other gear rentals..
