Freeman lake park is the largest city park in elizabethtown. it features a 170 acre lake where fishing and boating are the main attraction. row boats and paddle boats are available for rental and a small fee is charged for private boats. there are 93 acres open for picnicking along with 2 large picnic shelters with restrooms and two small. Recharge your batteries in our beautiful lakeside park. lincoln heritage house, sarah bush johnston lincoln memorial house, and one-room schoolhouse all located here! kayaks, rowboats, and peddle boats all $5/hour to rent. anyone 16 years and older can go on boats alone. anyone 16 years and younger must be accompanied by an adult.. Happy hour rate: $16/hr all boats rented before 12pm. we do not accept reservations. all boats are first come, first serve..
