Jackson kayak will repair or replace (at its option) the hull and/or outfitting components, based on the applicable warranty year, as follows: jk kayak hull: first year of warranty: we’ll replace or repair the hull for free (or we’ll replace the complete boat for 20% of the current msrp), and you cover shipping costs.. I did my best to try and repair and old kayak that i saved from the trash. the repair didn't turn out very pretty but we don't even notice it when we are out on the water.. This was right after they came out, so there was not of time to test the product. the hull is now cracking where the seat contacts the hull in the rear when in the low position. jackson became aware of this problem and then redesigned the hull (made it thicker in the affected area). jackson offers a 3 year warranty on the hull..
