We planned to stop here for a couple of hours to have a swim, eat a nice lunch and enjoy the paddle boats after traveling down on puffing billy - none of which we achieved.. Studley park boathouse is situated on the banks of the yarra river & boasts an impressive fleet of rowboats, canoes & kayaks which are all available for hire every day of the year except christmas day.. The culmination of our yarra river blitz was a paddle against plastic event. these events are growing rapidly in popularity with paddlers of all types invited to come down and help clean up the river..
