Lost canoe lake is a 279 acre lake located in vilas county. it has a maximum depth of 41 feet. visitors have access to the lake from a public boat landing. fish include musky, panfish, largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, northern pike and walleye. the lake's water clarity is very clear. features boat landing (1). Rent our rowboats, canoes, kayaks, paddle boards or pedal boats for use on lost lake – a mt hood lake, located on the north side of mt hood. life jackets are available upon boat rental. note: june – september, we have a 2 hour minimum rental.. A full line of basic fishing equipment can be purchased in the store. motors are not allowed on lost lake. note: lost lake resort does not offer any kind of seasonal fishing license. if you do not have a license and plan on fishing lost lake for more than one day we recommend you purchase a seasonal license in town..
